A widow on the Hunt!
This is a mixed media pice! the background is a mash-up of a photo taken by a very god friend of mine and drawings. I don’t think you can guess what it is actually that he took the photo of!
Black widow in process.
John at a Pub after the fall. Tried to focus more on colour than details and technique with this.
I have a could at the moment so my energy and patiens is quite low, which is very annoying as I had hoped to produce more than this during the weekend. But why be sad, it turned out all right anyway.
I have never been one of those people that drew eyes just to draw eyes and there for I feel that I lack a eye style, so I decided to do some practices to try and find what I want my style to be.
Tony in one of is bad periods. Named after a song by Vaya Con Dios with the same name. That was also the song that inspired this pice. Not much els to say, feel free to create your own back story for it.
Tried to work with my old technique again as I’m not really happy with where my art have been going lately. This one turned out quite well.
Titled ‘Pack your memories’
Listened to the song by Vaya con dios song by the same name.
A sketch of my cat playing.
I love her so much.
why can’t I just finish this? it has been laying around on my desktop for too long ..
WOOOAAA! Loving it, I find this tutorial on deviantart. http://f0rmaldehyde.deviantart.com/
the totally awesome f0rmaldehyde made the tutorial. I hope this can help any hardcore digital artists out there!
Yo, I’mma reblog this here first because I can. Later I’ll reblog it to my new reblog blog Pastellitaivas. I tried this today ‘cos I hate to spend ridiculous amounts of money on things if I can get the same or better for less. Found 1,65mm from Tokmanni for 2,99€
and I can tell you it feels heavenly. I remember Kaikkitietäjä at least was wondering if it’d actually work and it does. 100/5 I’d recommend. My tip is a bit long but I don’t mind it feels gooood~ Took me less than 10 minutes to make. It feels a bit smoother and bouncier than the original nib but I like that as well, it’d be only a problem if you want your nib to be on the stiffer side. But yeah, I have now 15 meters of pen nibs… :D
I’ll go to Berlin tomorrow with my school, I have never been to Germany before so hopefully I’ll be inspired there and have the opportunity to draw and find interesting thrift/secondhand/charity-shops !
A (quite) quick sketch for my second assignment at my first year of architecture school.
